We have made a checklist to help our customers submit proper files for print.
Is my job ready for press?
We make every effort to help our customers with their files, however many problems are unable to be repaired.
If you have any questions or concerns about your files, please contact us!
For all client designed artwork, the preferred file format is a hi-resolution Adobe PDF, in CMYK format, with all fonts embedded. www.acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-to-embed-fonts-in-a-pdf
We can also accept JPEG, EPS, TIFF, Quark XPress, InDesign CS, Illustrator, and Photoshop files. Please be sure to include all necessary image and font files. Fiorelli Graphics & Printing assumes all fonts supplied are licensed and takes no responsibility for embedded fonts.
Regrettably, we cannot accept any artwork taken directly from a website or sent via fax, as the quality is incompatible for print. We also cannot accept designed artwork created in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Works, Pagemaker, or Publisher formats. All supplied art must be accompanied by a PDF or hard copy for proofing purposes.
Submitting your files
Supplied media can be furnished on CD, DVD, USB memory sticks or files up to 10MB can be sent to us via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. For larger files, contact one of our production coordinators for information about uploading files.
We also ask that you provide a hard copy print out of your artwork. Your digital file should be labeled with client name/job title print instructions. (Don't forget to keep a copy of your file, in case we need you to make alterations)
All supplied art must be submitted in a manner ready for press. Fiorelli Graphics & Printing does not accept responsibility for files that have not been presented correctly - the sole responsibility for file content rests with the file originator.
